Cuemái at ISPO Material Lab in Munich: Pioneering Sustainable Textiles From Spirits
Date:
6/12/24
Being part of the ISPO Material Lab in Munich was a privilege for Cuemái, where the world’s most forward thinking circular materials came together. This year’s edition, hosted at OutDoor by ISPO in June, 2024, continued its purpose of highlighting transformative, sustainable innovations.
As part of the Sustainability Hub, the Material Lab brought these circular materials to life in a compelling, interactive way. Exhibits traced each material’s journey from its raw form to its fully developed state, revealing their transformation step-by-step. Curated by Studio Nima, the display included a range of exciting alternatives. Cuemái was honored to contribute our tequila waste textiles alongside these innovations, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable practices and the circular design movement.

Many visitors were excited to learn more about our unique process of transforming tequila byproducts into biodegradable textiles. This event provided not only a chance to present our vision but also reaffirmed our commitment to pushing the boundaries of circular design, and our CEO felt inspired by the innovative approaches showcased. Whether in Milano, Munich, or beyond, Cuemái is dedicated to redefining waste and creating a more sustainable textile future.
